It is easy to amass a huge collection of photos of Annecy. Known as The "Venice of the Alps", with its eye-catching canals and historic buildings, there are many sights to enjoy. Numerous events throughout the year provide additional photo opportunities, such as the "Venetian Carnival" before Easter, the "Annecy International Animation Film Festival" in June, fireworks displays of the 14th July and the "Fête du Lac" in August, the "Retour des Alpages" in October and the Christmas market in December!
